Our research deals with the interplay of supramolecular interactions and magnetic phenomena.
We deal with three main areas:
1) Covalent and non-covalent magnetic interactions - Coordination polymers and cluster synthesis and their applications in magnetism and catalysis, examining assemblies through H-bonding, Pi-Pi stacking and halogen interactions
2) Magnetic materials development - Adding properties such as liquid crystal and ionic liquid character to magnetically interesting compounds
3) Magnetic Sensors - Using magnetic phenomena as chemical sensors for toxins and drugs of abuse.
